Ibikunle Amosun And Rochas Okorocha Get The Hammer, Suspended For Stabbing Party In The Back

Two sitting governors of the All Progressives Congress APC have been place on suspension pending the outcome of investigation over alleged anti party activities, the governors are governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State and his Imo State counterpart, governor Rochas Okorocha. The National Working Committee of the party suspended both governors on Friday, reports reaching flawlessview.com indicates that the NWC of the party has recommended that both governors should be expelled from the party because of their brazen disregard for the party constitution and indulging in anti-party activities.

Rochas Okorocha is reportedly supporting his son-in-law who is the governorship candidate for Action Alliance, against Senator Hope Uzodinma who is the governorship candidate for All Progressives Congress, Ibikunle Amosun on the other hand is campaigning for a member of the House of Representatives, Abdulkadir Akinlade who is the governorship candidate of Allied Peoples Movement against Prince Dapo Abiodun who is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC.

Recall that Amosun was fingered in the February incident at the presidential campaign run at Abeokuta where president Buhari was stoned while trying to address party members, investigations proved that Ibikunle Amosun flooded the venue of the APC presidential rally in Abeokuta with APM supporters.

In a twist of fate, both governors that have been recommended for expulsion won their seats to the House of Senate under the APC umbrella.
