Mystery Deaths In Kano, 12 Prominent People Die In 10 Hours

Unconfirmed reports emanating the ancient city of Kano claim that a number of prominent people lost their lives on Satur­day under very bizarre and unexplained circumstances.

Recall that the spate of deaths in the ancient city has been on the increase in recent times.

According to the report, on Saturday 25th of April 2020, in the hours between 12 am and 3 pm, the death was announced of Prof. Ibrahim Alkali Aya­gi, the renowned Professor of Economics, closely following this, many other deaths of prominent citizens of the state were reported.

The unconfirmed report claims that the following high profile citizens of Kano state also lost their lives through unknown circumstances.

Alhaji Dahi­ru Rabiu, the former Kano Grand Khadi.

Abdullahi Lawal; ex-MD of Continental Merchant Bank.

Rabiu Dambatta.

Kabiru Ibrahim Bayero

Mother of the businessman, Ado Gwanja.

Dr. Musa Umar Gwarzo, the elder brother to former deputy governor.

Mal Musa Tijja­ni, a frontline journalist and the former editor of both Triumph Newspaper, and Leadership newspa­pers.

Alhaji Adamu Isyaku Dal, former Executive Sec­retary, State Universal Basic Education Board.

Alhaji Salisu Lado.

Alhaji Garba Sarki Fagge.

Dr. Nasiru Maikano Bichi, Secretary, Student Af­fairs North-West University.

Prof. Aliyu Umar Dikko the Regional Manager of First Bank,

Prominent women alleged to be in the list are

Hajiya Shamsiyya Musta­pha

Hajiya Nene Umma.

The latest in the spate of unexplained high profile deaths in the ancient city of Kano happened yet again on Sunday 26th of April 2020, and this is the death of Professor Balarabe Maikaba of the department of mass communication at the Bayero University in Kano.

The cause and nature of these deaths are reported to be a mystery yet to be unravelled by the Kano State Government.
